|GC| is distributed with one module:

the module is not strictly necessary for the basic |GC| functionalities (:ref:`overview_maps`).

Geocoding module
----------------

The geocoding module queries Google geocoding web service to obtain a latitude/logitude tuple from a string address.

The module shows a form where the user can enter an address or a zip code and optionally select one or mode |GCLs|, after the form submission if the web service found a location for the given address, the user is redirected to a page contaning a |GC| map, zoomed and centered to the found location.

An error message is shown if the location could not be found.

The component is fully configurable from the control panel.
