I’ve just discovered that the latest versions of web developer FF extension supports 3D view of the web pages: super cool! Look at how nice is the  OpenLayers vector layer stacked on to the background map  layers.

OpenStreeetMap and OpenCycleMap extent bookmarklet

Today I wrote a simple bookmarklet to get the map extent in EPSG:4326 from the wonderful OpenCycleMaps.org website. It also works on the OpenStreetMap.org website. GeoContent è un componente per Joomla! 1.7 e 2.5 che permette di inserire mappe di Google o OpenLayers nelle pagine del sito. Le mappe possono essere facilmente personalizzate e gli articoli possono essere georeferenziati per costruire un indice geografico del sito. Da poco è disponibile anche una beta per Joomla! 3.x.
