Accessibility mess
Despite the great improvements that the italian regulation “Stanca” law triggered in many public administrazion websites, you can find a lot of scandalous examples laying around.
What a big confusion!
The image shows the footer of a public administration home page with two clearly inconsistent claims: XHTML and HTML 4.
The website is only compliant to HTML 4 transitional.
The following pictures were taken from the demonstration websites of two CMS advertised as XHTML strict and WAI AAA compliant.
Unfortunately this situation is quite common.
